On November 17, 2010, several members of Freedom House came to visit the students and tell their personal stories.
The visit is timed to enhance participation and deepen understanding for a paper product drive being held by the students to support Freedom House. Freedom House is a unique place for persecuted individuals can seek asylum and legal help. The paper product drive is being held to provide everyday items needed to make Freedom House a more comfortable place for the residents to live.
The drive is being held at Garden City Middle School on November 20 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The school is located at 1421 Radcliff.
